- Andrew Jackson was a Lawyer from the Carolinas who became a hero of war when defeating the British in New Orleans in 1828.
- Jackson was such a popular president amoungst society, that he won popular vote 3 times.
- Jackson was, and still is the only president to have ever been held captive, making him a former prisomer of war.
- Jackson and his wife adopted to Native American boys.
